Let’s make Ninjago Valentines!

Print and Cut Ninjago Valentines

This post is so nostalgic for me! I originally made Lego Ninjago Valentines cards for my oldest son 7 years ago when he was super obsessed with Legos.

He has since moved on (now he’s trying to spend all my money on expensive sneakers instead of huge Lego sets) but we had so many awesome years of playing with all the different themes.

Printable Valentines are especially perfect if you didn’t remember to grab cards from the store and realize the night before the school exchange.

Ninjago was a big favorite of my son. He was in a big ninja phase and the fact that Lego had a Ninjago set was the best thing ever!

I knew my son would love to pass out Ninjago Valentine’s so I decided to get crafty and make some. And I’m sharing them with you so you can be a mom hero too.

Supplies

If your kids are like mine, they probably want to give out candy along with their Ninjago Valentine’s cards. Just pick up some candy at your local store and attach one of these with some ribbon.

If you are attaching candy you will also need: candy, cello bags, ribbon, and a hole punch.

Step 2: Print

Print out as many pages as you need. Each page will have 6 cards on it. I kept these black and white to make them really modern and clean.

Step 3: Color (optional)

Your child could easily color them in with colored pencils or crayons. I love things that can be an artsy activity for your kids and a gift to give to others.

Or, you could pair them with a small package of crayons so their friends could color them on their own.

Step 4: Cut

Use your paper cutter to cut out your Ninjago Valentines.

This is my FAVORITE paper cutter. I’ve used it for, like ever. It’s super easy to use and I like that it’s not the guillotine style. Kids are “helpers” and I hate the idea of them reaching as the cutting arm is coming down. Ew.

This whole project only takes a few minutes which I love!!!

Step 5: Sign

Then just have your kids sign the cards. Most schools don’t want you to address them to the classmates so all you have to do is put their name.

I don’t want to say that I’m lazy, but I’m totally lazy. If a DIY Valentine requires cutting, scoring, bending, and gluing, I’m not doing it.

YOU GUYS! How cute is this? This is the original Ninjago Valentine’s we made 7 years ago! How cute is his little heart for the “O”?!

He was so proud to pass these out to his kindergarten class. Now he’s in 9th grade.

Maybe I can get him to give these out again this year…I could almost feel him rolling his eyes as I wrote that.

  1. Hi! Do you happen to have a printable link for the ninjago valentines? I would love to print these for my son!

Hi Nancy, no I don’t have a printable link for these. I found the clip art online and just added text to it. Since it isn’t my clip art I don’t feel right putting together a printable. Sorry!
