Let’s make a non alcoholic Gin and Tonic.

This virgin Gin and Tonic is perfect when you want a drink but no alcohol. I love a good cocktail. And I love wine too but sometimes life just calls for a mocktail.

There are currently tons of liquor alternative products on the market which makes mixing up a non-alcoholic drink so easy.

Instead of mixing elaborate mocktails with fruit juices, etc., you can make a virgin version of a classic cocktail that tastes amazingly close to the real thing.

Why This Recipe Works

My old go-to was a Bitters and Soda but with a gin alternative, I can enjoy a refreshing non alcoholic gin and tonic.

Gin has a crisp, herbal flavor that is super refreshing. It’s classically paired with tonic and a little lime, to make a yummy, super easy, 3 ingredient drink.

If you’re already a fan of the G&T, you’re going to love this alcohol-free version.

This Zero-Proof gin is really flavorful. I love that you get the same herbal notes plus they’ve even figured out how to give a little heat on the throat to mimic the liquor effect.

Ritual also has whiskey, rum and tequila alternatives so you can make all your favorite drinks without alcohol.

You can drink this anytime since there is no alcohol!

And just like the original, it’s easy to modify and give the flavors a twist. (like in my Grapefruit Gin and Tonic).

1. Add ice to a glass

Use a short cocktail glass for this drink to make it as close to the boozy recipe. But it is so refreshing, you may want to grab a larger glass next time you made it.

2. Add the Ritual Zero Proof Gin

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best non-alcoholic gin?

I like to use Ritual Zero Proof Gin but there are tons of options on the market. Seedlip, Tanqueray Alcohol-Free, Gordon’s Alcohol-Free, Everleaf Mountain Spirit are available. Plus there are some other non-alcoholic spirits that are blends of herbs and can be used for martinis, gimlets, etc.

What is clean gin?

Clean gin has a really low alcohol content but isn’t the same as non-alcoholic gin. Just be clear about what you are buying so you know what you are using in your drink.
