You should be able to find all of these ingredients at your local grocery store or liquor store.

Here are my favorite sauvignon blancs from New Zealand that are under $20 and any of these would be perfect in this wine spritzer recipe.

You can also use other types of wine for this recipe if you don’t have sauvignon blanc. While I would stay away from chardonnay because it is too bold for the elderflower liqueur, you can try using something like pinot grigio or something sweeter like riesling.

You can also try sparkling wine to make it a more traditional spritz (flavor, sparkling wine and club soda).

Also, you can make this with sparkling water instead of club soda. They are essentially the same thing.

Variations

  • If you don’t have St Germain, you can use another elderflower liqueur or even a simple syrup infused with elderflower.

  • You can also add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime for a little tartness.
