A Mango Strawberry Daiquiri recipe that is perfect for summer!

This coconutty Frozen Mango Strawberry Daiquiri reminds me of my last beach vacation. Fresh fruit, zesty lime and a good slug of sweet, tropical coconut rum all blended together with ice and slurped through a straw!

Now, excuse me, while I sit and daydream a little…

Why I love this frozen coconut rum cocktail recipe

The color is bold. The flavor is bold. It’s stupid easy to make and it’s great for a crowd! Oh, and it’s delicious. Que “all I do is win, win, win, no matter what….”

It you own a high-powered blender (I like this one) you’ve got endless frozen, blended cocktails at your fingertips.

But I really love this Strawberry Mango Daiquiri at the moment. It’s fresh, fruity, and only takes about 5 minutes to pull together.

You know I love to keep my home bar small but coconut rum cocktails are delicious and now you have another one you can use that bottle of Malibu for.

All the flavor comes from fresh ingredients. I just know you’re going to love how this one tastes.

Ingredients

Ingredients for mango and strawberry daiquris spread our across the countertop.
Plenty of fresh fruit gives this Strawberry Mango Daiquiri recipe maximum tropical vibes and flavor.

Here’s what you need to make this delicious frozen daiquiri:

Malibu is most people’s go-to coconut rum and it is quite sweet, which is why, as well as the fact it includes plenty of fresh fruit I’ve not added any additional sugar.

But, depending on the sweetness of your fruit if you’re using a different brand without added sugar you may want to add simple syrup or agave to your daiquiri to taste.

This is a summery drink so strawberries and mango will probably be at their best when you make this. If not, feel free to use frozen fruit, you might just need to add a little more water and blend the cocktail for longer to get the desired consistency.

Step 4

Serve it in glasses or mason jars and garnish with fresh mint sprigs.

Variations

  • Make it creamy – a spoonful of coconut cream will make your frozen daiquiri slightly creamy and seriously increase those tropical vibes. It will also make the coconut flavor a little more dominant. You could also add a chunk of fresh banana.
  • Change the fruit – pineapple would be delicious in place of the mango, and raspberries would work well in place of the strawberry as long as you don’t mind that the odd seed might remain in your drink.
  • Swap the liquor – If you aren’t a fan of coconut rum, you could use light rum or something like vodka or tequila instead.
  • Make it a mocktail – Leave out the rum altogether and make this a frozen mango strawberry mocktail. A splash of pineapple juice would make it amazing.

Tools

For the perfect slushy, you’ll want to use a very high-power blender. I recommend this one. I like it because it’s reasonably priced and I’ve used it for years and it still makes blended drinks with ease.
